The Superhero Art Club is for K-5 students. Weekly meetings include rotations of art lessons and positive character lessons.

Choir is for 4th and 5th grade students by audition. Choir has weekly rehearsals of music and at least one performance each semester, as well as a singing tour at nursing homes.

The Gazette is a student-run school newspaper. Students meet weekly to take photos and write articles for the monthly publication. Open to 4th and 5th graders by application.

LEGO Club is a fun, hands-on program where students use creativity and teamwork to build unique LEGO projects and develop problem-solving skills. Students in grades 2-5 meet weekly.

Lion Leaders is a student leadership organization for 4th and 5th graders. Lion Leaders focus on leadership skills and complete service activities throughout the year. Students apply in the spring to serve the following year.

NEHS Bylaws

National Elementary Honor Society is a national organization. The Ben Franklin chapter of NEHS recognizes 4th and 5th grade students who exemplify the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and responsibility. Students who meet the GPA minimum will receive applications in January.
